Luna pointed beautifully 3 wc, I missed all of them!!!
One flushed into my face, I had to turn around and shoot в угон

Ivy bumped one bird, but she was close to me and 'birdy' so I saw it and shot, but missed too.

Dogs swam in the lake, despite the cold, I guess the water is still not that cold.

So all in all
Luna is great
Ivy is slow and old
Liza is worth than useless

Ivy and Liza learned to sit and wait for me to go to Luna's points (by GPS) pretty well.
They usually wait until I shoot or call them.
Although they might whine a bit.

Looks like I got out 20 times (running the dogs in the park and hunting)
Didn't make a single trip to Tiny.
Shot may be 10 wc, with the best day being hunting Luna alone and shooting 4 birds, missing 2-3 other solid points.

moved approx 12 wc, Luna pointed some, the rest were bumps.

One bird I saw Luna pointing and Liza saw it and jumped in. She needs to be trained!!!!

Ivy pointed one and I shot it.
Luna pointed 3 times, one I saw flush (probably because I was yelling at Liza to sit)
I shot at it, but missed. One left w/o shot and one I didn't see.

Luna pointed 3-4 times, twice Liza took the bird out.

There were 3-4 bumps by dogs, I didn't see which one.

Luna only.
She pointed 6 birds, I missed 2, may be it was because of the Orvis hat.
She bumped 4, I shot at 2 of them and missed.

Luna works really really well.

She had some trouble with retrieves, chewing, dropping birds.
She probably got into it because she gives birds to Liza normally.
I called her, put one wc in her mouth and told her to hold.
This seems to have reminded her how to do it.

Nice day, proper dog work.

no points I think from any dog, she's ruining Luna and Ivy too.
Ivy is pretty slow, she bumped wc in thick cedars after nosing around in a small area, not sure

Luna pointed 4 birds, she left the first 3 points, not sure if the got tired or the birds moved, the other 2 dogs were with me, I just didn't have time to get to her.
First time she pointed 90m from me.

Her 4th point I walked in, she wouldn't move, when I was saying OK LUNA finally Liza broker from her sit about 30 m away, Luna moved, the bird flushed into my face and I had to shoot 'away' shot towards the lake where people water ski, so I shot one shot, missed and didn't shoot the second barrel.

There also were 1-2 bumps.

No points from Liza or Ivy

Moved few wc - I walked into one,
Ivy bumped one and 2 came out of the 'island' bush, probably Lisa bumped them.

I also ran Lisa in Kirby before hunting, she was barking, so probably bumped another wc.

Liza had a point, she was close to me, close to the trail and wind was in her face, she pointed I said nothing, I moved after a second or two and she flushed the bird, I fired blank and praised her

Luna pointed very solid one in the poplars, I couldn't find her, walked past her, she was standing

I parked on Kirby side, brough Liza alone, leaving Ivy and Luna in the car.
She moved 3 wc in the poplars quickly. One she flash pointed.

Luna and Ivy quickly moved one bird each, Luna was slowly tracking one and would point it may be if Liza wasn't moving right behind her, but she didn't run like crazy, which is good.

Alltogether moved around 9 birds, didn't see any points. May be the conditions were bad.

Similar. Moved around 8 birds, I think Luna pointed one. Liza is pretty useless. Have to train her on pigeons next year.

Liza runs and chasing birds while barking like mad dog
Ivy slowed down, she was standing with Luna I think on the point....

hunted Holland on Thanksgiving day

Ivy pointed very nicely in the overgrown field. I managed to shoot the bird with the second shot.

Previous week, took the dogs couple times to Kirby, 3-4 birds each time, Liza is crazy, hasn't pointed yet. Luna points and so does Ivy.

Saturday before I was at Rob's farm, didn't shoot anything. There were a few birds, but no good points or shooting opportunities.

It was nothing, then in the bush island Luna pointed a bird, then another.
I missed from 1 point and then one bumped bird.
Only 2 points from Luna

Altogether 6 wc moved.

April 7 - wc

Moved at least 7 wc.
Luna was on point according to Astro at least twice.
The first time 50-70 m from me. I didn't get to her in time, she moved and then I saw her with the bird. She was coming to me when called, but Liza came to her and she dropped the wc, Liza started mouthing it and didn't come, so I stepped those 5 m and took the bird.
All dogs swam after geese and ducks, Liza too. Luna was trying to break band of ice to get to a duck on the other side.
Liza runs like crazy, they're all a little wild, not cautious enough, I think that's the competition, every one is trying to get to a bird first. The solution - hunt them one by one, alone, but I don't have time and cover for this.

April 6 2019 - wc

On the morning walk Ivy moved one wc, Liza found the same one I think and chased it.

all dogs had at least one good point, Liza had 2

the dogs were panting and went for a swim in the small back pond.
Liza went for a drink, but didn't want to swim as Luna and Ivy, but when I sent Luna after a pair of mallards, Liza finally had the courage to swim. She started splashing a bit, but settled into normal swim. She's still afraid to swim looks like.
She's chasing wc like crazy and barks, the same as she does with rabbits.

April 1 - wc

Luna and Liza bumbed one wc on the evening walk.

On the weekend Luna moved 3-4 wc in the swampy part of Kirby Rd park, nothing elsewhere.
These were the first birds of the season.
